Mighty Nighters (Montreal): Mighty Nighters is a recently formed group of six musicians from the Montreal area that specializes in swing, rockabilly and rock’n’roll music of the 40s, 50s and 60s. Janice and Gilles Picard, brother and sister, originally from Edmundston, make music together at every opportunity that arises. Their diversified repertoire, with an air of blues and old classics, was instilled in them from a very young age by following in the footsteps of their father, a well-known local singer, the late Mr. Aldéo Pichon Picard. “To be on stage together is always in honor of our father and the pleasure he would have to meet there with us. Tonight, we will present you some well-known old classics and this, as natural and simple as possible, with voice and guitar.
